Celebrating 25 years of ‘engineering ease’

2013 sees Wolf Systems UK - part of the family-run Wolf Group founded in Scharnstein, Austria in 1966 - celebrate its 25th anniversary in making timber engineering easier.

To mark the occasion it will be taking over 40 customers to the Group’s operation in Austria, where they’ll gain insight to the wider activities of the Wolf Systems Group as specialists in timber engineering construction. Customers will also get a first-hand view of how very critical Wolf Systems UK’s integration is within Group operations, taking the technical lead in both software and product development.

A packed three-day itinerary is planned, including visits to key manufacturing facilities, presentations on the latest developments in Wolf Systems’ market leading truss, easi-joist®, Horizon and Enterprise software and results and feedback from user group meetings.

Crucially the trip will also provide the perfect opportunity for Wolf to unveil its new, next generation structural design software innovation, Fusion.

“The Coventry development team has been working on Fusion in conjunction with Wolf’s German and French developers for the past three years and we see our Silver anniversary celebrations as the ideal platform to reveal it to key customers,” says Sales and Marketing Director, Karl Foster. “Although this is only a ‘first look’ and we’ve still some way to go, we’re really looking forward to seeing what our customers make of it.”

Guests will be treated to a Bavarian dinner at Hofbräuhaus, arguably one of the world’s most famous beer houses, followed by a night out in cosmopolitan Munich. And for anyone with a clear head the following morning, the event will round off with a trip to the nearby Hundegger machinery factory to see the latest range of Hundegger saws in operation.

Look out for details of the trip and reaction to the Fusion project in our next issue of easi-news.
